Haney’s making a business decision. Going to 140 to see if he can pickup a belt, while seeing if he can hold onto the lightweight belts in case he loses against Prograis.

I favor him over Regis and Shakur over him so might as well keep that leverage.

Shakur has to get stripped or pickup an interim title and bide him time. He will prove to be the best lightweight, but they won’t just give him the big names, the kid is the goods and they know it.

I often notice even fighters that lost in the past, there stock actually went up if they put in good performance, Get bigger better fights. Honestly seems like PBC are Grinch's with belts. So stingy. How many years did it take to make this fight tonight and you see why. How many time has some of the biggest PBC fighter actually fight over last 3-4 years. Honestly I was wanting to see Tyzu fight Mell the way Tyzu was fighting that was looking like a good match up. Thinking maybe Bud fight Mell if the both win. Nah PBC throwing that away for ginger. Terrible. They avoid match Charlo with real fight tough fights in favor of Canelo money grab. I hope it back fires on em.
