That says a lot that he really wanted to make the fight and did things to make it happen.

        Spence:
I stuck to the negotiation. I said, ‘No, we can make this fight happen.’
        Crawford:
I don't need to fight Spence!

Agree Street Cleaner. Who will win? IDK. I keep flipping & flopping, I'm kind've edging towards Errol but Bud is so good, how can I bet against Bud? IDK man. I'll decide on the day.

We will see. The chances of one or both of them not engaging with aggression is quite high statistically. I just hope the fans are not yelling at the screen while watching two dudes not giving us true action.

I woud be astonished if it was like Hagler-Hearns. There probably will be long periods of feinting & drawing out &, yeah, the fans may cry that there isn't enough action. You'll see plenty of action by the end of 12 but I don't expect war from the outset. Both men are grandmasters, both very clever men & they will lay traps & play games. By round 10 they will know where they are & whoever is behind on points will start to really push. I see r 10-12 being, potentially, GREAT rounds.

Spence is definitely putting it all on the line - I wouldn't have begrudged him at all for retiring after the accident and especially after the eye issue. I have a ton of respect for him for coming back like he did - he probably deserves more credit if not for the (warranted) stigma around DUI, it's looked at as self-inflicted.

But I believe he is damaged fighter right now so just by showing up I have the upmost respect - he is a crazy Mfer, he is hardcore. If the vision is really compromised, is this something like Trinidad v David Reid. Not in styles of each fighter, but where you have a top finisher against a talented damaged guy.. I think so, but we will see.

Seems like Spence is also a boxing fan, sometimes he speaks like one (for example telling TC he beat a "one legged Benavidez" - that sounds exactly like what a NSB degen would say lol).. But as fan, responding to fans, I think he wanted to make sure this fight finally happened.

Good point about Spence being a big boxing fan. Crawford has said he doesn’t watch old fights, which to me adds to his super boring personality.

This doesn’t, however, change the fact that I think Crawford will win the first fight.
