They say the same thing about the Cotto and Margarito catchweights.
The catch-weight fight I wanted to see was Pacquiao vs. Lomachenko @ 140, back in 2019! That would've been a good one!

Inouye needs to come to North America and fight a ppv fight in Vegas. If he can get up to 130, it’s realistic. For whatever reason the really light weights just aren’t as marketable. Maybe it’s because at those weights, guys are just so far below the size of your average person it has too much of a novelty feel.

Pacquiao vs. Donaire is more realistic, especially if Donaire can come up a bit.

There you've got a fight that's still likely to be somewhat compelling rather than a one-sided wash.

Sure it's possible if Inoue takes steriods like Manny.

Dont forget the CWs , a CW for WW and a 154 title at 150 against a former WW that was knocked out and then baned for years, somehow I don't think Inoue would do any of this match-making BS I think he is a very honourable champion and will do it by the book or not at all.

The monster will beat up an old Pacman even if he ballooned 18 pounds.

Yeah I think that's also why Inoue wants to move out of his current weight class as soon as possible so that he can reign as champion in his optimal weight for a while and then retire in his prime.
Inoue doesn't seem like he's reaching for unrealistic glory like Manny.

Loma is not a 140 lb fighter, he struggles filling out 135, Loma is a light-framed small guy, 130 is his best.

I understand, but Manny was 40, and was willing to come down to 140, after fighting at 147 for 10 years! I think that was a fair deal! Could've been Loma's best payday of his career! Hindsight is 20/20!
