"Fulton desperately wants a do-over. A chance to prove that what took this place in Japan was nothing more then just a bad night at the office."

That's what I wanted to see! Run it back...in Philly!

You are a regular fighter, but Inoue is elite.

Can’t condemn Fulton for trying to find something positive to cling to after that loss but he really let himself down by putting on the lane, passive performance he put on. It’s bad when a viewer starts out rooting for you but by Round 4 is rooting for your opponent - and by Round 6 is rooting for your opponent to score a knockout just so the fight can be over already. That’s exactly how I was feeling watching Fulton against Inoue. The bad thing is Fulton showed nothing in that fight that would make you want to see him fight again - he’s got a tough climb back to the top, so good luck to him.

    No you're not.

Elite fighters dominate very good fighters i.e what Inoue just did.

the word elite gets overused now. It is a word that must be used for a fighter that separates them clearly from the other top fighters around them. Just like The Monster does.

Fulton is a pretty good fighter, but his calculated risk failed. Hee thought Inoue was just a puncher, but by him being the bigger guy, he could negate the power, outbox Inoue, and eventually bully him, much like Hopkins did Trinidad. However, Fulton lacks two important qualities: power and a great chin.

However, Fulton didn't need to win this fight for his stock to rise; he just had to bank 3 to 4 rounds and avoid the KO lost. But factoring in how he lost, it's hard to consider him to be an elite-level fighter at the moment.

Inoue is P4P #1 in my books, but this fight showed the blueprint to beat him, you have to catch him while he comes in. The few overhands that Fulton landed clean, Inoue did not see them coming because he was careless. That being said, it will require a bigger guy to exploit this. Donaire had him in deep trouble in the first fight and if Inoue can take Nonito's killer left hook, he definitely can take anything Fulton has. It's pretty obvious that trying to outbox Inoue is a ****** tactic, you have to absorb punishment and look for a one-punch ko.
