  • Comments Thread For: Crawford Says Counterpunching Ability, Ring Generalship & Mental Approach Separates Him From Spence

There is a slight sliver in the set of skills that separates Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. Both Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs), Spence (28-0, 22 KOs), and their camps have indicated that fortitude, grit, and determination will likely be the determining factor for who'll eventually walk away victorious when they meet July 29 at

Mayweather learned young that switching stance doesn't work at highest level that's y he didn't do that when he stepped up level , Crawford is in for tough night if he doesn't realise quick and give Spence credit for his abilities, Spence is not a ****** fighter he can counter too and comes forward with super good defence and he can be slick too , can't wait for this fight , I keep changing my picks

One weakness that Crawford has is that he really thinks that he will avoid all the punches and when he gets hit he actually reacts like he is surprised. Also he will try to get back the pound of flesh because in his head he is a tough guy and has gotten away with it.

His pin point accuracy of his counters might be the difference in the fight but Spence has an all star sparring team and a great coach so more than likely he is prepared for this. 50/50 fight depending on Spence's inactivity before this fight.

Looking forward to this fight, but the more and more I play it out in my head, the less I see a KO. I see both playing it rather safe as to not make a dumb mistake for the other guy to capitalize on. I'm hoping it's more action packed than I'm imagining, but time and time again, we get what looks to be all action on paper, only for the guys to change it up when the fight happens. Especially at both their respective ages in the sport now. I can't imagine either guy wants to go in swinging reckless to impress the crowd.

That said, both guys probably benefit from a more tactical fight, with Errol perhaps having the slight edge. I think Bud does awesome in exchanges and if he can't get Errol to commit to a reckless exchange, I don't think he'll find as much success as Errol. We'll see. Looking forward to it.

Bud needing 8 fights and 5 years at WW before being ready for Spence, whilst Inoue is ready for Fulton immediately in 4th weight class is what separates Inoue from Bud, there's levels to this Bud.

Two days away from Mr Man Down ending Strap Season with the stoppage of the #1 P4P WBO champion, Crawford. I hate that it has to end like this, but Bud left him no choice. He was going to hold his one trinket hostage until all his demands were met or Spence moved up and vacated. So now, The Big Fish is upset and has to get him back in blood. Let the beatings begin!!

i havent seen crawford move a ton since the postol fight

but it sounds like he is worried about spence's power and is gonna move a lot vs him to limit the engagements
