For the record, real greats like "Kid" Lewis, McLarnin, Britton etc etc would have buried Crawford. He wouldn't even be a notable win for them. Just look at their resumes to see why.
Listen man, I'm black. No one loves Jimmy McLarnin more than me. He lived to be 100, he was a beautiful boxer puncher. I've had all his available films since I was a teenager. But he would have gotten KO'd by Bud, plain and simple. Ted "kid" Lewis, same thing. He was very rugged and pretty skilled for the time, and was credited by some with inventing the gum shield (mouth piece), and I love watching the guy. But he would be KO'd by Bud. Jack Britton- I searched for any film on the guy since I was a teenager, never found any. Fought over 300 pro fights and not one film of him out there exists that I'm aware of. All I know is he had fast feet and was a mover and threw a lot of punches but wasn't a puncher by any means. How would he bury Bud? Would he even fight Bud? I combed thru his long career and I don't see mhch evidence that he even fought black fighters. Maybe it just wasn't his jam. Maybe it was fear, idk. U decide

If you best spence your no1WW as of today, that's it. Don't mean your better than Duran, SRL, pac.
Not pfp the best right now though too. That would be Inoue, usyk

We're not talking head to head. He said Crawford would be probably top 5 for accomplishments. Sorry, but he isn't even in the top 30.

Maybe Crawford is better than all of these guys. I am not sure. Are you?
How much did you see of the British Empire at it's peak? But would you deny the power it had?

We've seen plenty of footage on most of these fighters. Crawford doesn't even touch the sides for any of them. But still, you didn't answer the question. Who would you put Crawford over in a top 5?

Those fighters fought the very greatest in history with them barely getting stopped in all those fights. Bud isn't stopping them on even his best day. And here's the thing. Styles are shaped by their environment of the time. If they were to fight in this day and age, they would have the styles of this time. Great is great regardless of the time period. They're bona fide greats. Crawford isn't close to being. He hasn't come anywhere near to be called a great of boxing. He's a good fighter and that's where it ends. He beat a Spence who has been out of a ring for 15 months. That alone is bad news for anyone. When you add in the car crash too where he's a clearly a changed person who talks like he's punch drunk, then it's pretty much guaranteed Crawford wins.

I knew he'd get the stoppage, but Crawford when he steps up to anywhere near to world class is usually too cautious. That's where i thought Spence could get a couple of rounds in a boring fight before Crawford got warmed up mid to late. But no, he surprised me and started with intention from the get go in a fight that was a lot more pleasing than i anticipated. But let's not go overboard here. I don't rate Spence highly and never have. The only world class fighter he fought when they were still at the top of their game and his size was Shawn Porter who i had winning by a point. 7/5 in rounds but Spence dropped him so it was only by a point. The others were either too small or too broken when he fought them.

However, you still didn't answer the question of why only white fighters?

Your answer tells me u don't know sh.t about BOXING!! Bud wouldn't stop those guys on his best day? Watch the films, Nimrod. Fighters from the old days kept their hands way too low to avoid Bud's sniper attack. He's deadly accurate, man. I can tell u never boxed a day in your life. You don't know what ur looking at. I get it though. U desperately want and need the old white fighters to be the best. Do u see how Ted Kid Lewis charges forward crossing his feet with his chin up in the air throwing wild punches?. That's a highlight reel knockout waiting to happen right there. Jimmy McLarnin often held his hands down by his waist. He was great for his time, but that style today would get exploited. Jack Britton had no Pop at all. He had like 20 KO's in 300 fights and most of his opponents had lousy records. Bud is different. He beat Ricky Burns' British ass didn't he? .

I think Crawford is one of the greatest WWs of all time. Think he beats almost any WW that has ever existed.

Are there WWs with better resumes? Yeah. But just purely in skill and and ability, think he could beat the likes of Pac, Floyd, and perhaps even Sugar Ray Leonard and Duran
