pfp is nonsense. Fulton is Inoues 4th division. If spence fought a Fulton level fighter, spence might win but we'd not see that spence was in a different class to Fulton. Plus spence is only buds 3rd division.
Again dont try pull the wool over our eyes. We can see bud is trying to get away with doing less, yet wanting same credit.
Bud needs to fight tim tszyu or Charlo with no acclimatising to division, bud needing 5 years as a ww to best spence isn't Inoue level statementsLast edited by hugh grant; 07-27-2023, 05:47 AM.Comment

This comment is a dumb as the comment you made below about Floyd having to fight Canelo at 160. Ask yourself an important question about why you feel American fighters need to go above and beyond.. but others.. (Inoue) for example only need to do 60% of the work before you crown them. Then ask yourself and others why you’re so hesitant to see a P4P American.

Go look at the odds for Crawford vs Gamboa, Crawford vs Prescott, Crawford vs Postol, Crawford vs Porter & Crawford vs Spence. All those fights were perceived as more of a threat on paper than anyone Inoue has fought. Even Fulton was a 4/1 underdog. So if Bud beats Spence.. he needs to move up and fight Charlo and become a 3 weight undisputed champion just to get be received as Pound For Pound number 1 in your eyes? Comedy gold. Spence’s resumè is 1000 times better than Inoue’s without a shadow of a doubt.

Not really.. Bud has been in riskier fights on paper. Inoue has often been a heavy favourite in 99% of his fights, outside of Fulton who was a 4/1 underdog. Spence is a top 5 P4P guy and if Bud is successful it would be the 2nd P4P fighter he’s beaten, Inoue hasn’t beaten anyone on the list. The jump from 135-147 is more difficult than the jump Inoue made.Comment

If spence best pac, that would've been his best win just about. Spences resume isn't all that.
Bud needs to best Charlo or Tim tzsyu if he wants to be seen to be doing what Inoue is doing. No more tit for tat, just make a statement, don't leave arguments, rather than failing to convince people that campaigning in your 3rd weight division for 5 years to beat spence is equal to what Inoue is doing.
Bud don't need 5 years to beat spence, spence isn't that scary.! Bud shouldve beat spence 3 years ago at the very least and then thered be no problem fighting Charlo in 1st fight at LMWLast edited by hugh grant; 07-27-2023, 06:20 AM.Comment

Fulton beat more undefeated fighters than anyone on the p4p list. Crawford’s resume weak as hell and Spence is still in his original weightclass. Regardless of what happens Saturday, Inoue is very clearly the best boxer on this planet.

Who are you picking, crold1 ?
The weight span is slightly more, but the opponent quality is lesser.
Fulton is Inoue’s best win over a prime opponent.Comment

I think Donaire obviously wasn't the best version of himself in the first fight but he was still a very capable elite fighter. 2 things prove that - 1/ look at how much more trouble he gave Inoue than Fulton and 2/ after he lost to Inoue he still won a title off Ooubali at 118 who himself was a decent fighter - Nonito is this generations Hopkins for longevity - we all know that normally lower weight fighters age faster than mid-range fighters - but here we are this weekend and he is fighting for ANOTHER belt - he is first call HOF - we will wait and see if Fulton achieves that - he still has work to do and the time to do it in.Who are you picking, crold1 ?
