    Hatton disagrees.

That said, I know what you mean. The reason I believe prime Pac stops Inoue is that Inoue takes flush shots. He comes straight forward and Pac would be turning him the whole fight, while throwing big shots at the same time. Pac had one punch KO power, but he was often punching while moving, not setting his feet. His power was ridiculous in that he was hitting and hurting guys while moving, not even sitting down on his punches. The Hatton KO was him sitting down on a punch. Nasty.

Prime Inoue smokes prime Rigo any day of the week at 122, 'el chacal' would run for dear life whole fight imo. Like pacman said, Naoya is a real special talent.

hatton was a walking KO waiting to happen... we can both agree that inoue has better defense and IQ than hatton... i think manny edges out a close win but i can also see manny getting stopped by a body shot. pac at the lower weight wasnt the beast he became once he moves up... pac at the lower weight takes a lot of shots. i dont think he can do that against inoue.

            Inoue was frustrated by Butler?

If Pac hits any fighter with that shot, he drops them.

In no way is Hatton as skilled as Inoue. But Hatton was tough as hell and no slouch.

Fulton hit Inoue with a few really big shots, if he had any power, that fight could have been much more competitive. Fulton is nowhere near Pac's power or skill level when he was that weight.

                Not true.

                Despite that false narrative.

By frustrated I don't mean in the sense of difficulty. He was just visibly annoyed and bored out there until the KO shot. Prime Rigo could do the same, but in a more track-meet and less earmuffs-up way.

An old Donaire was able to crack Inoue's orbital bone with a single punch and Pacquiao definitely hits much harder than Donaire. So I could see a prime Pacquiao doing a lot of damage and stopping Inoue also. Inoue loves his jab and Pac loves to counter the jab with the split guard. So a well timed split guard could drop Inoue or partially blind him like in the Donaire fight. And the last thing you want is to be partially blinded against a prime Pac.

Also does Inoue hit harder than Marquez? Marquez was able to score stoppages against champions at Lightweight and Bradley says Marquez was a heavy hitter. It remains to be seen if Inoue's power carries at Featherweight or even Super Featherweight.

I wish Rigo would have turned pro sooner. He would have had a longer prime and then we could have seen the best of him.
