Sure he is, Lomachenko never beat a bigger man. Inoue is much better.

Greater in what sense? Professional Career? Yes. But it's also hard to compare since Loma went pro at 33 chasing gold medals, while Inoue went pro at 19 with only 80 amateur fights, all of which being in youth tournaments IIRC.

Loma turned pro at like 25/26 I think. Was 2013 on the Bradley-Marquez undercard.

Easy comparison. I have lots of respect for Loma, and I dont hold the Siri loss against him -- he never saw the kind of tactics Siri specialized in in the amateurs!!

But Monster has been running through dudes since his 5th professional fight. As he showed today, its not just power. He is a skilled boxer.

We are witnessing an ATG here. How crazy is it that he is in his 4th weight class -- and I dont really see any challenges for him at 122 or 126!!!

Not quite. As impressive as he is, he hasn't faced the same level of competition. Loma was in fact the smaller man in most of his fights at 135. Factor in a robbery loss to Haney and a fouled filled loss to dirty Salido who should have been disqualified and he really only has one legitimate loss to a considerably larger opponent.

But we all know how this works. As soon as Inoue suffers his first loss you'll all be calling him a bum. You're already calling Fulton a bum, so how can this win be so impressive if you insist he beat a bum?

I thought he was older. My bad.

I knew he was on the Floyd/Manny undercard.

He is the second greatest fighter of post-Floyd era.

                  1- Canelo
                  2- Inoue
                  3- Gonzalez
                  4- Donaire
                  5- Estrada

Loma lost to Salido, Teo and Haney. Salido and Teo are legit journeyman historically.

even if you were to argue otherwise, they were razor thin fights. Inoue never had such fights.
