Bud v Spence is a more significant fight, but the manner in which Inoue disposed of Fulton, who was supposed to be bigger, stronger, and faster, a better boxer to Inoue's power puncher, and the first athletic black American fighter that Inoue ever faced, has (rightfully) raised his stock.
Spence and bud are top 5 p4p on every list. Fulton wasn't.

Bud or spence are better wins than fulton.

that's not a knock on inoue. He's the real deal. His fight just ain't bigger or more historic than the winner of bud vs spence

So if bud wins. He becomes the first person to win undisputed in 2 different divisons in the 4 belt era.

But he's less accomplished? I can't take you seriously.

So 75 year old Donaire is his best win. Dont pretend Inoue been running through elite competition. Because real fans know better.

Is inoue the real deal? Yes.

But we not about to pretend like he running through hall of fame fighters in these divisions like Pacquiao was doing.

Donaire was 36, same age as Crawford is now and he's going in the HOF.

My point exactly. It's no big deal that errol beat Danny which is why i didn't mention him initially. And it's no big deal that inoue beat 36 year old nonito and 40 year old nonito.

Danny is Borderline. 2 division champ. Unified at 140. He may not get in. But he'll touch the ballot. Danny hall of fame chances are better than butler and Rodriguez correct? Ok then

Mikey is a 4 division champ like inoue. Why wouldn't he get in?

How telling and pathetic was the comment afterwards by Kriegel saying you have to be arogant to get to such a high level. He couldnt believe humility had that ability also.

Fulton is his best win and nonito was 55 years old.

Spence vs bud is my p4p number 1.
This really sounds just like your average American fan who doesn't follow the lighter classes. The lighter classes are far more popular in Asia, and your average Inoue fan in the East can easily name several of Inoue's opponents, but they don't know and don't care about Errol Spence Jr. The man on the street in Japan knows Inoue. They know Donaire, and Ryoichi Taguchi, Omar Narváez, Jason Moloney, etc. The average man on the street in the US doesn't know or care about Errol Spence Jr or Bud Crawford or Tank Davis.

Nobody is forcing you to care about other fighters etc, and your P4P list is just that. Yours. But let's not pretend it has any kind of objectivity to it. I still have yet to hear any credible reasons for Spence, with his what, 5 or 6 title fights against predominantly smaller opponents in one division, to be on the P4P list at all, outside of western media favoritism. The entire concept of P4P is to think about, if size and weight weren't an issue, who would be the better fighter.

Personally, I'm not that impressed with Spence's resume. Porter is HIS best win, and that was a controversial split. The Garcia's were both coming up in weight, much as Inoue did against Fulton. The remainder are guys on the level of Thurman, who lost to an old Pacquiao, who started 8 weight divisions lower. He's fought less than half as many world champions as Inoue. In fact, his resume is not that dissimilar to Fulton's prior to Inoue, and the fight with Bud is like 3 years overdue to boot. Neither is in their prime. Fulton absolutely is in his prime now.

Can you name another active fighter who moved up in weight, took on the consensus best fighter in his divisional debut, and won every round en route to a stoppage?

We will see what happens Saturday. With the judge list, unless it ends in a stoppage, I wouldn't be surprised to see a controversial robbery decision in a close fight that will do little to settle the rivalry.
