Anyway, Inoue is fantastic and I had no doubt he'd beat Fulton. Where I got it wrong was in thinking Fulton could use his length and the timing he'd used in previous fights to frustrate Inoue, go 12 rounds, and maybe put 4 or a generous 5 of them in the bank. Instead, Inoue easily outboxed him, showed superior timing, never had any problems with his movement or reach, and splatted him brutally to cap it off. Better in every respect. An elite P4P performance that you see only rarely.

Fulton was a divisional #1, unified champ, probably top 25 P4P. He had shown good timing, defense, stamina, and adaptability, and aside from power can pretty much do it all at a high level. He is no mug and the people saying he was overrated are failing to grasp just how f@cking impressive it was for Inoue to make him look so feeble.

It's a testament to how good Inoue is that they'd have Inoue favourite in 1st fight in 4th division. Inoue didn't need to be in a division 5 years like bud has been to be favourite against Spence in 3rd division. And bud hasn't delivered yet against spence, and might lose, let alone dominate and stop spence in 8 rounds.
I guess Nelo was favourite against bivol, but Nell had best kovalev at 175, so maybe overrated that win. And the bookies getting it so wrong with Nell v bivol didn't put them off having faith in Inoue

I never heard anybody say Fulton would win because he was black. People said they thought he would win because he was the bigger man. The thing is 99 percent of the people on this Forum, other Forums, or out in the real world who wanted Fulton to lose were white males who wanted Fulton to lose because he is black. Just like the same whites wanted Mayweather to lose because he is black like the same whites who dislike Deontay Wilder only dislike him because he is black and I could go on. I can't make this up.

Touching story. I never heard any black person say the reason they thought Fulton would win was because he is black. Prefight gamesmanship by Fulton's trainer. It's just like when a boxer wants you to change gloves or in this case try to throw off a routine maybe change the way his hands are wrapped and he a little more cautious about throwing harder shots. You don't have to lie and act like Fulton just flew off the handles calling him a B word or tell him get the F outta here. None of that you just have a mental disease that makes you focus on the worse and blanket entire groups based off a group you have a problem with.
