Comments Thread For: Eimantas Stanionis Has No Problem With Facing Jaron Ennis Next, Loathes Tune-Ups

There's simply no other way to put it. Things have flat-out been a disaster for Eimantas Stanionis as of late. April 16th, 2022, was essentially his proudest moment as a pro. On the night, the Lithuanian born contender achieved a lifelong dream of becoming a world champion, albeit a secondary one.

Not sure this is the right move for Stanionis
See a fight with Boots ending the same way the Villa fight ended
Credit to him though for having big balls just not sure it’s the smartest move

Stanionis has been saying this since his 10th fight.
No offers were made from the Ennis camp.

I like the cojones from Stanionis. He will be a tough outing for any fighter at WW.

No qualms here. They are both available and fresh off a recent training camp. Stanionis has showed he would fight anyone as evidenced by the fight that fell off with Ortiz. Does Boots want it is the question?

So Boots is ducking him. That’s the conclusion
Why didn’t Bud or Spence the last 4 years? Someone was ducking
Boots apparently ducked Roman Villa for a bit until the”fluke” destruction of Villa a week ago.

Ennis is not a fully established fighter. He's still being managed and guided
by his team, which includes his dad and Dunkin.

They might have avoided Stanionis and still have to think twice even now.
Ortiz would have been Stan's 16th fight, while Villa was Ennis's 32nd. Huge difference.
What does that tell you? What tells me is this narrative about being avoided is a hoax,
and in fact the complete opposite. You don't talk about Spence by just having mostly nobodies in your record.

Ennis is looking at a title shot next and should get it! This guy is just trying to get a fight. What’s Stanionis going to do for Ennis at this point in his career? He should demand a title shot next and if Stanionis is any good he’d challenge for that tile at some point.
