When fighting in the US, Inoue finished his 3 opponents within 7 rounds. In the UK his finished his opponent in 2 rounds. But apparently in Japan he's wrapping his hands in a more devastating way, even though 3 guys went the distance with him there and his last opponent lasted 11 rounds?

Well said. It's deplorable talk from a trainer before the fight.
It's one thing a fighter saying it, all is fair in mental warfare but as a trainer thats way overstepping your boundary. Interested to hear what breadman has to say
