Thurman is in a really ****ed position...

All of his prime years, 30-34, have been wasted..

He probably made too much on that Pacquiao fight to agree to fight for less.

Keith Thurman needed a get back year a few years ago and got left behind and is now on his way out with another loss.

Keith Thurman is hoping to end another protracted break from the ring soon. The former welterweight titlist from Clearwater, Florida, has not fought since February of last year, when he overcame Mario Barrios with a 12-round unanimous decision. That fight was Thurman’s first in nearly three years, since his loss to

Thurman could have been fought in February. They were trying to mandate Spence. He wiggled his way out of that. He made a big fight happen. I cannot be mad about that. I understand boxing. I know how it is. The fans have been waiting for this fight. Nobody’s mad at this decision. Just the way that it has infected me this year has been unpleasant. But you know, at the end of the day, I’m still here, patiently waiting for the opportunities to come my way.”
...so, the decision was like COVID or something?

        Or maybe you meant AFFECTED?

So is Keef going to fight Ugas or what? That's the perfect comeback fight for him.

Remember the old Keith that was calling out everyone and said he didn’t care about keeping any 0 on his record? I never would have guessed he’d end up with the disappointing career that he has. It’s too bad because his attitude early in his career was exactly what this sport needs. He’s too far gone to beat any of the top guys now.

"Thurman’s a yes man. ‘Yes, I’ll fight him. Yes, I’ll fight him. Yes, I’ll fight him.’ We just got to create the ‘when’ and the ‘where."

Funny, doesn't seem that long ago when Spence wanted to fight Thurman and Thurman was going on and on about how Spence needed to earn his place...

The writing is on the wall for Thurman unless he plans on being a gatekeeper. He had a good career, unified world champion at 147,but let's face it. he was never "THAT GUY" frfr he was a good fighter yes but the networks where already looking for that next IT guy that had real PPV potential..once Thurman lost his 0 to Pacquiao he was expendable as Spence was already coming up by then
