  • Comments Thread For: John Fury Reacts To Eddie Hearn on Fury-Ngannou: How Much Egg Has He Got on His Face Today?

John Fury, father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, believes promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom has "egg on his face." The elder Fury was reacting to some of Hearn's comments with respect to Tyson's finalized crossover boxing match with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.

John Fury with the misdirection. Is it legacy or money? Nobody cares John was able to get a fight in Saudi. If it’s not against Uysk it’s fake news.

Fury will forever pay for these decisions with die hard boxing fans, regardless of the outcome. Howard the duck.

*If Fury then fights Uysk, Zhang or Joyce, Bjg Baby Anderson, and throw in Frank Sanchez or Filip H or Bakole then I will retract my statement. Even three of these fighters then he will be average HW champ compared to past champs.

So basically John is saying he is going to keep Fury away from any potential danger as long as he keeps the belt fir Tyson everyone is jealous ? What a mockery he is , he really dragged this family name through the mud to a level I believe it ranks up there in sport’s history as the biggest downfall from being on top to sinking in record time with fans and Tyson didn’t need any help the fact there’s two ppl alike of father and son is a double whammy . Lol

And the fact Hearn said this 2 years ago “ Eddie Hearn claims that the world’s top boxers all want to follow Anthony Joshua by fighting in Saudi Arabia – and has predicted it will overtake Las Vegas as the world’s premier venue for mega-fights. “ shows John is the one with zero clue what he’s talking about as usual. Everyone was literally up in arms when he held the Ruiz fight over there right next to the very ppl Fury just signed to . Smh

"The man's not worth listening to and he doesn't know what he's talking about. If he knew what he was talking about Joshua would still be a world champion."

Because he would have told AJ to duck Usyk, like Tyson did?

John Fury giving the game away there!

This match is a shame. Also AJ v Whyte is shameful, but at least it's boxing. Usyk playing football is less shameful than these 2 bouts.

Hearn himself was looking at putting together a fight with this same guy for Joshua .He's's saying it's not competitive then I agree , but on the same token if he's true to what he's actually saying here then he must have thought a Joshua v Ngannou fight was. These cross over events are shyte for boxing and only good for boxers and promoters pockets as is the bollocks that goes on in the money ****** Middle East , if and when they eventually take place. I hate these circus fights but if I was offered ****** money for an easy fight I know what I'd do .....as any sane man who do , as Fury as done, take the money as Joshua recently said 'it's all about Money'..!

i dont know why tyson fury cant just regularly defend his belt against proper contenders, all through his career there has been some sort of BS, more than likely he is the best heavyweight but he has never conducted himself as a 'champion' defending his belts against all comers

The click baiting misleading videos people make (Haters group) on YT ain't gonna work. Be careful, channels could get DELETED and when they do I'm gonna laugh hard hehehe. Fury vs Ngannou is a POWER MOVE, BOSS MOVE, BUSINESS MOVE and of course SMART MOVE.

Tyson Fury is the KING who is surpassing his rival.
