Comments Thread For: Hearn Wants To Push Winner of Beterbiev-Smith, Yarde, Against Bivol

Promoter Eddie Hearn is still looking for a suitor for Dmitry Bivol. The WBA light heavyweight champion from Russia has been on the hunt for an opponent ever since talks to engage Canelo Alvarez in a rematch fell through earlier this year. Last month, Alvarez announced a multi-bout partnership with Premier Boxing Champions to take on the fighters associated with that outfit, starting with undisputed junior middleweight champion Jermell Charlo on Sept. 30 in Las Vegas.

No they didn't. Bob said he was for it (unless you're referring to the interview from 3 years ago)

          WBC won't allow it/

It’s going to simultaneously be hilarious when Artur dashes Hearn’s hopes of a Bivol / Smith fight and sad because more time was wasted on one-sided fights.

Beterbiev looks like he’s got some steel bones under that flesh.

Boxing fans can apparently forget about seeing an undisputed light heavyweight title fight between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev anytime soon—or so long as Russia’s onslaught against Ukraine persists.

That's from June, in case you missed it.
