I think it’s somewhere in the middle.
He is in tremendous shape, no doubt. He’s put a ton of work in.
That said, I would bet this is his last fight at 147. He looks to me like its time to go to 154.Comment

It's well known that cutting lots of weight can have a bad effect on a fighter's punch resistance. With help from a nutritionist, they can look and feel great in pre-fight workouts, but everything changes when they start taking punches.
I'm not saying that will happen with Spence, we won't know till fight night. But the older a fighter gets, the more likely it becomes that cutting weight = cutting punch resistance.Comment

I've wondered if Spence would be drained for this fight, but it doesn't look like it to me so far.Comment

He looks around 158-160lbs right now. He’s still sweating easily so that’s a good sign. But I still think come the weigh in, he might look a bit like Devin Haney and be pretty weak. But he has a mesomorph body type, so he’ll rehydrate very nicely. On fight night he will be 165-170lbs easily without being sluggish. It’s no secret he should’ve been moved up, but for what the situation is…he’s looking good from my expert opinion.Comment
