I am so pumped about this fight as well. Very few writers/podcasters have spoken about Fulton's show of toughness and durability in the Figueroa fight. Brandon was up in his grill for every second of that fight and gave Fulton no room to breathe. Fulton weathered and excelled in countering him all night to win that fight. He didn't mentally crumble at all, and was super relaxed in the midst of a toe to toe war. I think that's a factor in this fight with Inoue. Still, I do favor Inoue by decision. I love when the best fight the best.

i thought fig won the fight but whatever it was memorable. some reason fig seems to have to get punched in the face to remember to fight. Ina will not have to get punched to attack his opponent. He has several ways to win, several ways to win fast or over determined n long rounds. yea i favor Ina but still believe it is going to be a very interesting fight.

I love an underdog and Fulton is it. He's such an underdog, I'm outright proud of him.

Honestly can’t pick the winner but leaning towards Inoue.
To be transparent, I’m a huge fan of Inoue and really like Fulton a lot. Both fighters have great skills and ring IQ to match the attributes but Inoue has that explosive power in both hands.
If his power carries I can see Inoue winning but Fulton has great ring generalship and banks rounds. Fulton knows how to pace a fight and get the decision.
Going to prepare a nice garlic soy marinade of wings and some steaks for the green egg. Going to be an amazing breakfast lol.
I know a lot of ppl more excited for this fight then Spence/Crawford. Gonna be drinking coffee waking up to watching this like GGG vs. Murata.

They're meeting in they're primes unlike the prima donnas in higher weight glasses. That's important, i can't wait.

That was an amazingly good article outlining what we already know: It is not easy to keep moving up in divisions. There is a point of diminishing returns, and where Inoue finds his ceiling is way more important to the outcome of this fight than any other factor. If he is still powerful and proficient, the four pounds will only be a number. But much like Lomachenko and Usyk, if his power does not translate as well to the new class, Fulton may just take this fight completely over as Inoue will not be able to afford a mistake. This is a fun, high stakes fight.

I kind of wish it was on more neutral territory, but it is not to be missed if you love boxing.

if he loses its nothing to do with 4lbs its because he finally fought an unbeaten black american fighter who can box, weve seen this many times some guy ko'ing b/c level fighters and once they fight someone who can stick and move a bit they suddenly dont look so scary, if inoue is as good as hyped up to be (some have him p4p number 1) he should be able to overcome 4lbs
