Comments Thread For: Jared Anderson: If Ngannou Lands That Punch on Fury, He May Not Get Back Up

Fury will toy with him and carry him to a late round KO to satisfy the people buying the fight. Just a cash side show. Hope they both make tens of millions. But I will happily skip it.

Now if they were doing a 5-round boxing match, then switching to a three round UFC style match to end the fight, I would watch that.

That'd be awesome and perfectly fair.

I don't get the hype with this guy, his highlight reel KO over Overeem is not exactly impressive considering Overeem has been KO'd how many times? 20 ?
People magically forgetting the Derick Lewis fight and getting schooled by Miocic. Gane was piecing him up, he literally lay on him to win. Zero defence, technically awful, he wont transition well into boxing.

Ok people, anyone who says that this would last more than 30 seconds if not staged is a moron. Boxing is an art. It’s like saying , I have a friend that’s 7 ‘2’ so he’s probably better than lebron at basketball. It makes no sense. I’m 46 now and have a torn meniscus but have boxed on and off for 20 yrs or so. Got in there a week or two to keep a young heavyweight warm and literally did not land a shot other than 2-3 body shots. Too quick and skillful against old me at this point. That’s reality if you understand the fight game. The people saying ‘it could happen’ are helping promote- Jared is a regular sparring partner of Fury

Obviously Ngannou has no chance of winning but lol @ him not being able to last more than 30 seconds unless its staged. You're going way too far in the other direction with that. Ngannou is probably better at boxing than a lot of the guys on Furys record tbh.

Anderson is Fury`s buddy and sparring partner and signed to Top rank so he must help to promote this fight.
