And this was just for fun and i do respect your opinion, but youve got to admit the Hws are becoming lame

Actually i think the klits brothers are a good thing for the HW division, but still just them its not enough.

Chambers and Haye are almost unknown prospects for not hardcore boxing fans

The klits are almost unknown for the common person and they are the HW champs
I think America need to wake up here to be honest and start showing more of their fights, the K brothers can sell out 61,000 capacity stadiums in Germany yet for some reason they aren't either marketable or whatever in the US.

Not that it bothers them, they don't need to fight in America when they can get millions of euros fighting in Germany.

then the SHW division would just take the place of the heavyweight division

it doesn't really make a difference long term i don't think. weight differences are less of an overwhelming factor once you get to those higher weights anyway

Pointless there is already a lack of talent in the division splitting it would make things worse, who would fight in the super heavyweight division? Valuev Wlad Vitali and Tyson Fury lol.

I know modern boxing already has too many divisions but IMO i think this would make more sense than some of the really small division splits of 1-2 pounds

Yes and the reason why is because these SHW's dont use their size to destroy their opposition they use it just to beat the opposition, which makes for some non competitive fights.

You would normally think that the spectacle of having one guy towering over the other and being outgunned and over matched physically would be interesting to watch, David and Goliath and all that, however as i pointed out before it does not work out like that because the SHW'd wont take risks that they dont need to, which you cant really blame them for, that is why there SHOULD! be a SHW division.

Haye, Povetkin, Haye, Arreloa would all be competitive good fights because they are all smallish HW who are relatively the same size.

No. I don't care much for the regular HW division.

I like the idea of a Super Heavyweight division. However I think 250 is much too high. I think the Heavyweight division should be 200-225, and SHW should be 225 and up. Something like that.

There used to be a ton of great fight between heavyweights under 225 pounds, now there's almost none. Instead guys are packing on extra pounds to contend with the sheer size of the gigantic heavyweights that are around nowadays.

Guys like Eddie Chambers could fight at their natural weight without fear of being sized to death.

                      Yep

The SHW division would probably fade into oblivion, but lets be honest, who cares if they are not going to throw down enough and put on entertaining fights.

VK is the only one that would be missed from my own perspective.
