Would you like a SHW division ?

With eastern europeans gigants now dominating almost everything in the HW division, and considering that the Great hws of all times were a lot lighter would you enjoy a heavyweight and a Super Heavy division split ?

I know modern boxing already has too many divisions but IMO i think this would make more sense than some of the really small division splits of 1-2 pounds

Exactly my point.. even the giants would try to be in their best shape to enter the HW division i am tired of looking at guys not caring enough to be in shape even for title fights

Either a SHW division or a weight limit or something. The HW division is an absolute sack of **** right now.

The Heavyweight divison must always be at the top. It's one of the most presitgious titles in sport 'The Heavyweight Championship of the World'. Boxing should not sacrifice a house-hold, everyday term in Heavyweight - a by-word for numerous instances encountered in everyday life.

Look, just because there are two eastern Europeans that are excepionally gifted, both physically and mentally, that are dominating the Heavyweight division, it is not as excuse to remove 150+ years of boxing tradition. Take away the Klitshckos are eastern Europeans are not 'dominating' nearly as much as is made out. There are upcoming fighters in Haye and Chambers that are easily as good as all the other contenders below the Klitschkos such as Povetkin.

Valuev is a disgrace to the sport however. I mean he seems like a cool guy but the robberies are just becoming a joke.

Actually i think the klits brothers are a good thing for the HW division, but still just them its not enough.

Chambers and Haye are almost unknown prospects for not hardcore boxing fans
