  • Comments Thread For: Ngannou on Landing Fury Payday: It's Life Changing, Day and Night To What I Made in UFC

    This fight stinks...
It's only 'life changing' financially for Ngannou because he's fighting an established name.
Fury has fought all his life and made a name off which Ngannou is now feeding off.

Ngannou will not fight any young, hungry contenders to prove himself,
only to get his slice fat slice of the cake.

          wouldnt have thought so

The highest guarantee in UFC history was $5m dollars for McGregor, obviously he made more through PPV after that.

Neither Ngannou or Jones have ever had a guaranteed purse of over £1m. So it's doubtful UFC was gonna start offering up a combined purse for both fighters of $10m-15m. They didn't guarantee half that for McGregor and Khabib combined in their fight.

                Good for him then

Whats he gonna do at 36 with no boxing experience? Try to go through the boxing rankings and get flattened by the first semi decent fighter he comes up against for a small purse?

Or have a little dance around in an exhibition with Fury in Saudi Arabia and make a ton of money while they both laugh all the way to the bank.

I know which I'd be doing if I was a 36 year old Ngannou.

No it wont....the news of this fight didnt create any buzz. It won't even crack 1 million ppv buys in america

The Saudis are paying for their own amusement. The casuals aren't gonna even know what time the fight is in Saudi arabia.

4 pm ppv in america will never be a success
