On the flip side I would take prime late eighties Tyson against prime Tua. I think the speed advantage for Tyson would have been too much for Tua.
Yes definitely think prime tyson too fast and defence was excellent too .

These two would've been champions had they had better matchmaking.

        late '80s Tyson destroys Ike.

Late '90s Ike beats late '90s Tyson, though.

Tua is a nightmare matchup for Tyson.

The fact that Ike won that Tua fight means he will definitely beat Tyson. Tyson wilts when a bull locks horns with him. Ike would lock horns and fight on the inside. He already took Tua's power for 12 rounds. he would make Tyson quit by 8

How so? He won his next 3 fights by knockout including a KO over Chris Byrd.

Ike beats Tyson. Ike was a legit maniac who soaked all of Tua's shots too. Too many Tyson****riders around the world. He couldn't handle a 40 year old Holyfield.

Don’t go letting facts get in the way of a good story.

I am not a Tyson fan and his fanboys do hype him up to much but you are doing the same thing with Ibeabuchi. He beat Tua and Byrd and that is it. Tua struggled against Jeff Wooden for crying out loud. Wooden should of gotten the nod. Byrd was skilled but a natural 180 pound guy. Tyson beat guys like Ruddock who were just as good if not better than Ike. .

I have to give you props for being right that Ike did fight Byrd after Tua. For some reason I remembered the Tua fight as Ike's last fight.

I had to rewatch Ike's fight with Byrd for the brutal uppercut Ike landed on Byrd in the 5th round. Byrd must have a headache to this day from that punch.

On the subject of Byrd this guy was everything Roy Jones thought he was. He had no business fighting at heavyweight, yet he fought killer after killer like Roy promised to do. Byrd is a very over looked fighter for what he accomplished in his career.
