'billy joe just wants to come back for another payday to fight a domestic overhyped british light heavy like buatsi, arthur or azeez who he knows he can beat. (yarde would beat his ass). could you imagine beterbiev vs billy joe. he would lose his eyeball. no real intention for a lhw title.'
I swear I would bet our house on Buatsi v BJS. I mean, not if the wife would find out about it, obviously, but if I could do it secretively. I'm not even convinced BJS would beat Lyndon who is huge LHW. He needs to stay at 168 or just call it a day.Comment

Surprised to hear all these comments. I hate the man too! But y’all really thought he was THAT bad as a fighter???? I didn’t think he was that terrible as far as skill alone. He’s definitely a poor quality human beingComment

Can't take this guy serously but lets pretend. Go to 175 feed him to Joe Smith Jr. scramble his brains and send him back to whatever housing project he has been feeding at. This is the guy with the idea it would be good to get crazy on a plane ? during covid ? I seem to remember him for nothing in the ring but a lot of garbage outside the ring to keep his lame brain in the boxing forums. Between those facts and Eddie just loves him, feed him to Joe Smith Jr. it would sell for the all the wrong reasons but to watch that pc of human trash get knocked around the ring would be worth it. Tell you another interesting fight is let him get picked up in Baltimore City and let little G.Davis share a cell with Billy Blow Saunders....Comment

I didn't say anything about him as a person & I generally wouldn't talk about that. IDK the guy personally so how can I comment? He was an exceptional fighter at 160 but, sadly, lacked any dedication. He was often seen between fights hugely overweight, drinking beer & eating junk food. His management should have tried to prevent him moving up to 168 because he doesn't really have the frame for it &, more importantly, moving up gave him an excuse to neglect training & carry on over-consuming. A step up further to 175 would be a catastrophic idea. As sidefx996 says, BJS could probably still beat Joe Smith Jnr, but he couldn't beat anyone decent at 175 & most of them would roast him alive. I think BJS was one of the most talented British boxers I've seen, when at 160, but talent, on its own, without a work ethic, will only take you so far. Look at Kirkland Laing. IDK why you'd say I think he's a bad fighter because he can't compete 2 divisions north of his natural weight due to corpulence. In my whole life I've only seen 2 fighters that could do that, Duran & Toney. BJS was a great talent but, I swear, he isn't Duran or Toney.Comment
