Casuals know Fulton? That's kind of surprising.

being a bit picky there - this is his 4th weight division and he has gone straight for the fighter generally recognised as the best in the division - like I said - ballsy!

well I've got a small bet on Fulton as the odds are good. This is a close fight. Thats why they fight the fights.
Nah, it doesn't work like that - when a P4P comes up to your only division and you beat him you don't get the accolades - but you will get a lift - maybe into lower top ten - just like Bivol did after he beat Canelo

Have you ever considered what percentage of body weight 4lbs is for a 118lb fighter?

Moving from 118 - 122 is proportionally a bigger move (3.9% of body weight) than moving from 135lbs to 140lbs (3.7% of body weight)

The biggest move - literally and proportionally is from LHW to Cruiser which is a massive 8.6% jump up in bodyweight. Thats why few do it and if they do they normally don't fare well. So props to Badou Jack.

I understand it fully, there is truth to what youre saying but in reality, its not so easy to interpret purely that way as it's a sliding scale. In the context it was said it was compared to Floyd at MW which is what the fella was saying. as an example a guy being 3% smaller can easily be 5% or more stronger, its a complex thing.

They're commenting on Top Rank posts, not Fulton posts. So they probably just boxing casuals and see "American vs Japanese"

The amount of guys saying Fulton is going to get the KO leads me to believe they don't know Fulton

I made that jump in the Amateurs (178-200) and it was awful. Especially since it meant I was typically 184lbs fighting guys who were 198lbs
