Tyson Fury needs to be mindful of where his fortune comes from, says the promoter of unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Alexander Krassyuk was not shy about criticizing Fury earlier this week at a press conference to announce Usyk's title defense against Daniel Dubois on Aug. 26 in Poland. Usyk was originally in talks for most of the past year to fight Fury, who holds the WBC title, for the undisputed heavyweight championship but the two sides were unable to strike a deal--much to the chagrin and disappointment of boxing fans.

These types of fights are made for one group, ufc fans. Ufc fans tend to have a case of the red ass about boxing, always have and probably always will. This right here, is a prime example of why boxing is in the toilet. Folks with their noses shoved so far into the money of the sport. Fury has been horrible for HW, he’s had titles how long now over the course of his career and has defended them exactly how many times since that snorefest with klitschko. At some point the money needs to not matter to you as a fan, or perhaps msnbc is where you should go spend your time. We don’t care about money, we care about fights and he hasn’t fought anyone worth a damn lately.
