It was a bn24 article so take it with a grain of salt. But Shakur also hit loma up on Twitter about fighting and Loma said he was in talks with Haney about a rematch right now.

He may have the power but I doubt he has the ability to land it. In boxing, there are plenty of guys that hit hard but not many of them have the requisite skills to land those shots at the elite level.

He didn't say they were in talks.

If this vatos the only 1 willing to fight Shakur they need to make it happen. De Los Santos is good. I dont think he has the awkwardness needed to be Shakur but if hes not afraid to lose than so be it.

Ur right, not word for word. It was sometime along the lines of he's focused on the haney rematch. Haney also gave an interview saying he never said he wouldn't rematch loma. But now the wbo is saying Haney petitioned them to fight barboza and they denied him so who knows who's gonna b next.

I would love that fight but I don't see tank coming outta jail to go directly into a Shakur fight. He'd definitely want a tune up first. His diet is all screwed up, zero training for months other than calisthenics in his cell. I just don't see it happening

Stevenson rubs me the wrong way but he anticipates shots better than just about anybody. Unless he decides to let De Los Santos get some free ones in, it just ain't happening.

Tank should be out by NLT September, so he should be good to go for a December fight! The writing on the wall is a rematch with Pitbull Cruz! Now we have to see if Teo Lopez vs. Devin gets done! If that's the case, then I expect Shakur vs. Loma!

Why can't these writers ever make any follow up questions? They know De Los Santos is with PBC and Stevenson is with TR. Can't you ever ask if he, De Los Santos being the B-side, ever ask if he's willing to fight on a ESPN card? Is it really that hard to ask these questions? They (writers) knew exactly how it is in this damn sport, yet they keep writing these fantasy fights.

It's a good fight from a fan's perspective, but knowing it's far from happening, what's the point of injecting this crap in my brain already full of it, anyways? Can't you at least add some intellectual benefits that would at least make your readers engage in terms of making the fight happen?
