Frank Warren was on talkSPORT today, he was asked what fury’s plans are after the Ngannou fight and he said fury will have a mandatory in place that he will have to fight. He didn’t even mention trying to make a fight with Usyk.
I have a feeling Fury will pressure wbc to put a mandatory in place so that he doesn’t have to fight Usyk. I have another feeling wbc will just install wilder as mandatory if Ruiz doesn’t fight him.
It’s gonna be Fury Wilder 4 again. And Usyk will have to fight Hrgovic and AJ frozen out.
Warren also confirmed that AJ vs wilder can’t happen in December as Saudis have pushed it back until early 2024. That fight is not happening.
