Froch is 40+ and retired. Fury is supposedly the no.1 HW in the world and he’s not even fighting a boxer.

And people do want Froch’s opinion, why do you think he’s always in the news? Because he’s always being asked for interviews as he’s amusing and usually right.

Fury has disappointed me. I still haven't watched the joke that was Mayweather vs. McGregor and I'm not the slightest bit interested in Fury vs. Ngannou.

I mean what do you expect from the Tipsy King? If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, calls people names on instagram like a duck and avoids fights like a duck, it's Tyson Fury.

He ducked Wlad rematch, he tried to duck Wilder III, he ducked Joshua, he ducked Usyk, he ducked Joe Joyce, he ducked Hrgovic and everyone else in the top 20. Instead he fights an MMA guy with as many professional boxing fights under his belt as my great grandma.

This is it, ladies and gentlemen: Tyson Fury in all his glory. He ducks, quacks and retires twice as much as he fights. WBC should just replace his belt with a red nose.

I don't always agree with Froch but I'm with him on this one. No real interest in either Fury/Ngannou or Joshua/Whyte. Neither fight moves the needle fore whatsoever.

I get why both are happening, Fury and Joshua (and their promoters) can maximize revenue while keeping risk down, thus preserving them and their relevancy for future big money fights.

With there being so much money in these novelty fights, and so much money in Saudi for the big ones, boxers can get away with barely fighting, and having half of those very few fights being zero competitive fights. like Fury vs Ngannou. It's great for the boxer, but it's not great for boxing long-term. it's putting the fans off as you barely get to see your fave fighters. Nash out
