Sure he’s pretty good but a guy like Hopkins, Jones jr, Tarver & Calzaghe would EASILY whip him. I KNOW Canelo would get whipped by those same guys TOO.
Calzaghe nearly killed Jones and Hopkins

Agreed with Oscar. He's been prime for a while and had a lot of tough fights without breaks.

After this 3 fight deal I can see him fighting once a year from then on

Bragging that Calzaghe beat a past his prime Roy is like bragging that Danny William destroyed Mike Tyson or Hatton beating an old Castillo or Holmes beating Ali or Camacho beating Sugar Ray.
If you know boxing then you must know Roy was way past his prime when he got beat by so many guys but perhaps you didn’t know that.

FYI, I am a huge Calzaghe fan and I know Calzaghe would get destroyed by Roy had they fought in 2002

Cal was good but longevity was his best trait. Prime bhop and RJJ wouldve beat him wide decision maybe KO hopkins almost Knocked him out in 1 round

So by your logic, he entered his prime a 21/22yo, then why he looked soo foolish against fraud, he was in his prime, right? Or what about at 23 against Lara. Why did he waited out ggg? Because finally the judges didn't screwed the other guy, they tried, though, he's old.
