Comments Thread For: Oscar De La Hoya: "Canelo Is An Old 33"

Fighting isn't always innate but for Canelo Alvarez, it was as if he was born and bred for the violent sport. Growing up in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Alvarez (59-2-2, 39 KOs) went from fighting in the street to fighting in the ring. Ultimately, with trainer Eddy Reynoso by his side, the two got started on their pugilistic journey a bit earlier than most.

And dlh is been fighting since he was 8 yo, and has hundreds of amateur fights, oftentimes fighting two fights in a day. So Archie More, Hopkins, and all those fighters performing a world level a 35-36yo, are better than ginger. I guess they're.

I’ve been saying the same thing for awhile now but the casuals don’t understand it cause they are dumb.
Canelo and Mayweather are BOTH retired except Canelo has never formally said it but he is doing EXHIBITIONS with the twins and possibly Spence.

Oscar is partially right, but he's also trying to piss Canelo off, so that he might want to take it out on Munguia.
That said it's also telling that Canelo moved up to try, and take Bivol's title, but got his face used for a human speed bag by Bivol.
After two tough defenses in his weight division, he's scurrying down below his own weight division to find opponent's he has a weight advantage against.
