Im not questioning Ennis being a top PROSPECT, but prospects fight a lot of cans. He needs to fight Stanionis, another top prospect, or ugas/thurman, then we'll see if his 31-0 record, vs a bunch of no names, is ready for the top dogs. And i say Stanionis and either ugas thurman because spence/crawf are going to fight 2 times. So Ennis can either wait a year to finally fight the winner of undisputed (which i doubt happens cause theyre more than likely going to move up) or keep sharp and test his mettle vs the other top prospect and 2 ex champs.

Hence my question - who did Spence fight to get a shot at Brook? A guy called Bundu. Do you even know who that guy is/was?
If Spence could get a shot at Brook and beat him, why does Boots need to fight gatekeepers to get
a shot at Bud or Spence?
I understand now that Bud-Spence is happening, Boots may not have much of a choice but he does not need to prove he belongs by fighting Thurman or Ugas because Spence didn’t need to prove anything to fight Brook.

Cause out of 31 fight Ennis aint fought nobody. Spence/Bud have a 2 fight deal. Ennis hasnt proven anything vs top contenders let alone ex champs or gate keepers for that matter.

Nothing wrong with self promotion. No one’s going to promote you better than yourself (or sometimes your trainer).

Promoters aren’t out here busting their ass promoting their fighters. Just a lot politicking. So fighters have to take it upon themselves to be noticed.

How are you missing the question I asked? Haters here are saying Boots NEEDS to fight an ex-champ or a gatekeeper to get a shot at Spence or Bud.
I’m asking which ex champ or gate keeper did Spence fight to get a shot at Brook? He didn’t.

Neither Spence nor Bud have any interest in fighting Boots. Boots has called both of them out and it’s gone nowhere. After he beat Villa he said he wants the winner. What else is he supposed to do?
