  • Comments Thread For: Kell Brook Breaks Down Spence-Crawford: The Small Margins Will Decide This Fight

Former welterweight champion Kell Brook is very familiar with both Errol Spence and Terence Crawford. Brook faced Spence in May of 2017. Spence was the mandatory challenger when he traveled to the UK to capture his first career world title, by breaking Brook's orbital bone and stopping him in the eleventh round to capture the IBF welterweight title.

Now I feel vindicated in not being able to separate them, when the man who's been in the ring with them both can't separate them too.
For what Spence has been through, Bud is slight favourite quite rightly. So I pick Spence for the win.

The difference here is Errol Spence fought a prime kell brook . Terrence Crawford fought a watered down, damaged goods kell brook. Crawford is used to fighting old washed up ex champions or uknown bums like David Avenesyan

This is the best analytic breakdown and it does favour Spence a little bit. I sincerely think Errol will get it and will surprise everyone including Crawford. Errol fight like Bull mastiff and dancing around night not work for Terence

I did not smell sour g****s there and it did not seem like he wanted to pump one up over another because he wanted to protect his rep. Good analysis!
he was a very good fighter. One of my favorite moments in the history of boxing was when he was starting to get the best of GGG and was out boxing him and then Golovkin flipped a switch and he just beat him up. I struggle to see why it seems like so many people have beef with Golovkin because moments like that are so legendary in boxing

I admittedly slept on much of their respective careers, save for the odd fight here and there. I went back and rewatched the bulk of fights I missed and it’s got me excited for the fight. I think Spence takes this, but wouldn’t be shocked for the opposite.

Spence fought a prime Brook that immediately boiled back down 2 weight divisions after getting his orbital bone broken by GGG? If you’re going to start diminishing the accomplishments of fighters that are facing off against each other, at least be consistent.

8 months is more than enough time to get back down in weight and recover from that injury… stop it

My biggest concern is if Errol can handle TCs power shots, if he can I think he will break TC down, I wouldn't bet on this unless some crazy odds were given writing one of them off.
