Josh not interested in fighting? Not sure about that. I'm certain he wants wilder and fury and others in top 10 also

I genuinely think part of the problem is that we know more about CET and the guys at the top of the division are wealthy enough to fight once per year to in order to try and minimise their chances of developing CET (and I can't blame them). I dont think this pattern will go away when these guys retire.

I think the situation is also being exacerbated in the short-term by the Saudi money, which is loading all the big fights to December (presuming that happens!).

That's obvious offering Usyk 30%, when Zhang was ruled out if he wanted to fight Hrgovic was the most logical option available as well as Frank Sanchez. No word just crickets n call outs of unranked unheard opps from Aussie & Ngannou or Jon Jones in a boxing match(they ain't a boxers) add in his disappearence from wlad rematch cause dodging drug test because of p.e.d. N coke this dude has been a joke of a champ

The sooner the better. When he does retire he wont do it with grace tho. Hes going to hold on to that wbc for as long as possible. He cant bare to let anybody get any attention the way he acted in the fight week of aj vs usyk 2 tells you all you need to know.

Hes going to be worse than floyd when he retired . Popping up at shows hinting of comebacks taking attention from the active fighters

I've gone from being a big fan of Fury the boxer, to someone who has criticised him for years.

I'd never begrudge any man taking their money and not risking their brain. But the guy is potentially the best boxer we've seen in 20 years... yet his resume doesn't show it, and he's been a terrible champion in terms of taking on challenges.

And you know he could retire now and spend the next decade talking about how he could still beat all the top fighters.

He's terrible for the sport and will continue to be terrible for the sport long after he's 'retired '. The best thing that can happen is for him to either clean out the division, or for him to be beaten.

But he's going to have to fight a live opponent for either of those things to happen. And I don't believe he'll do that unless one is mandated.
