No Floyd is responsible for stepping his game up so Oscar can make a fight with him, which is what happened.

That's how its supposed to be no excuses.

Mind you nobody is saying Oscar f'cked up boxing.

Forever trying to put it on everybody else.

Floyd called him out, ODH refused, Floyd did what he needed to make the fight, yet according to you Floyd is still at fault for it happening late. Got it.

Actually knowledgeable, older, educated fans point out how SRL and ODH did this long before Floyd did.

Its the newer and leas knowledgeable fans that think this started with Floyd.

Haney uses Floyd because his name still gets media reactions.

      Is what it is.

        .
Floyd backed out of the Margarito fight, only to fight a softer touch in Baldymir for the same amount of money. The rest of your excuse is irrevelent.
The Baldymir fight was one of Floyd's worst. The arena was half empty before the 12th round.

No he didn’t. Tell the truth.

Bob said he wouldn’t make the ODH fight. Floyd wanted that fight. ODH was the better opponent, tougher, and brought more money.

Floyd did what he had to do to secure the better fight.

Yes, GBP agreed to pay him that amount for Baldomir to build for the ODH fight. Then Floyd took a bad deal for the ODH fight to make sure he got it.

Yes, he dominated Baldomir. That created more incentive for the ODH fight and got him a ww title.

          What is wrong with that?

Shane said after two tough fights with Vargas that he was taking a vacation. He said it before and after the rematch.
Same excuse Floyd used when Merchant asked him about Cotto, Williams, and the rest of the welterweight division after Hatton, that he was going on vacation. Only difference was Floyd's lasted 2 years long enough for the whole division to beat each other up.

            Protecting the zero.

Youre lying. He told Merchant he had a tooth issue. The video has been posted here many times.

Bob is on record as saying Cotto wasnt ready. That has been posted on this site many times as well.

Yes, Floyd said his hands were hurt. He said he was taking a vacation. So?

The rest of the division did what it always does- fought to determine the next challenger to the champ.

Well obviously you will not lose when youre not fighting. You also will not win.

Was Manny protecting his 7 by being off 2 years between Thurman and Ugas?

So Oscar the cash cow, is obligated to make a fight with a no name lightweight because you say so. Yeah ok.

                  1. I didnt say that.

                  2. Thats the exact same standard you apply to Floyd when you talk about guys calling him out when he was the cash cow.

                  3. No name? Floyd wasnt a big revenue generator but he was a top 3 p4p boxer.

You have a very biased double standard here. If its ok for ODH to ignore call outs its ok for Floyd. You act as if Floyd has to respond to every call out.

He led the interview off by saying he planned on taking a vacation, said that he would take a Floyd fight a year later.
Pull up the video. All you heard was the toothache part and every Floyd boy ran with that

He told merchant about his tooth and Merchant laughed at him. We all saw it.

The video above shows the deal.

So was Manny protecting his 7 when he sat out 2 years between Thurman and Ugas?
