I don't buy into the hype of Leonard ducking Pryor. it's the same with Bowe ducking Lewis. Just as your post stated, one or 2 vids don't tell the whole story. Pryor was offered the fight just as Lewis was offered the fight TWICE with Bowe and turned it down prior to Bowe throwing that worthless azz WBC belt in the trash where it belongs to this day.

Nonsense.
Certain boxing fans, may USE a loss on a fighters record to discredit a fighter.
But when you honestly look at the general public? The general public switch up real quick.
A fighter can lose, then win again and go on a run of fights 'And they will not care about that loss'.
Floyd Mayweather Junior has retired, his legacy has not ruined the sport of boxing.
It was Carl Froch who stated 'The reason why sometimes fights don't happen these days, is not because of the promoters entirely. It is down to the fighters'.
Top Fighters these days have more individual power and say in who they will fight 'And if most fighters can make things easier for themselves they will, and I don't think people can really criticism them for that'.
But that type of attitude in the game, is going to effect the sport.
I just think it is a individual thing, some fighters innately like challenging themselves beyond their limits 'They push their limits'.
And then there are some fighters, who are more reserved 'It is up to the fighters, on how they want to navigate in the game'.
Floyd Maweather Junior did challenge himself, and not every fight for him was easy 'But he was undefeated' etc.
