For people that don't know, Morrell is a Cuban Amateur World Champion at the age of 17!!! At 17 he was beating up National Team Captain De la Cruz which at the time De la Cruz was a seasoned amateur and continues being Team Captain for the Cubans National Team!! Morrell has alot more technology and power on both hands then Benavidez!! I truly believe that Morrell has a special gift that comes around every 10yrs in the sport of Boxing!!! Out classes Benavidez all day long!!!

Mall Charlo could step in too if he's looking forward a canelo golden ticket now thats his lil bro got his.
Let's be real though, Morrell would toy with Liam Smith and Derev, despite being smaller and past it, was better than Munguia.

Someone tell this overhyped prospect to shut up and fight. Every article of him is him saying some clout chasing responses.

Call out Plant, Ryder, even start with old ass Dirrell. Get any name on there. Out here calling out the big names, thinking you are owed these big fights and big checks coming off as a gold digger.

Why doesn't Morrell fight Andrade. Neither has a fight lined up, both were elite amateurs, both are undefeated and both are with PBC.

Oh, you know why. Good money for an easy fight. Morrell needs to just continued whooping who's in front of him. The other guys will need to see him or move up and see Bivol soon enough. Munguia is no threat to anyone of note so he needs to sell himself out before being exposed

All quiet from Benevidez? Starting to look like he doesn't fancy that Morrell work.

Benavidez only has eyes for that Canelo retirement check.

Fellas! Fellas! Fellas! Don't fight in order to knock each other off before challenging Canelo for the undisputed Super middleweight crown. You are doing exactly what Alvarez wants you to do.

You are both his mandatory challengers. Let one of you defeat him first then discuss a potential fight with one another; Not now. This fight needs to marinate.

You are both in line for a title shot. So don't blow it now before at least challenging Canelo Alvarez first. Or else either one of you guys would drop even further down in the queue.

This is such a pointless article in light of recent events. Benavidez was going to fight Morrell right up to the point Canelo signed a 3 fight deal with PBC. Why on earth would Haymon put his two best fighters at 168 against each other? makes absolutely no sense. They’ll be fights 2 and 3 for Canelo to give a PBC fighter the best chance of walking away with the belts. Haymon wants those belts tucked under the PBC banner so he can keep them hostage with in house fights from now until eternity. It’s how he works. He isn’t about to let Morrell and Benavidez fight each other and no doubt both camps already know this and this rubbish from Morrell is just hyping it all up, raising his profile to justify Haymon putting him in against Canelo. All smoke and mirrors to the dumb masses.

The more noise Morrell makes in the meantime the more people will tune in to watch him eventually fight Canelo, the more money PBC makes. It’s all just promotion. Provided one of them beats Canelo they’ll still fight each other down the line when PBC will rake in all the cash.
