well i'm not sure i would like a 'gift' like Stanionis. A gift would be Barrios or similar. Stanionis is a tough out for Ortiz - his best opponent to date in my eyes.

But Ortiz is still a narrow favourite ability wise but a MASSIVE FAVORITE from a BUSINESS point of view.

I have thought for awhile that Ortiz should win this convincingly, but there are an awful lot of questions regarding his health. I find it hard to believe that making 147 isnt going to be hell for him and it is unclear as to the possible long term effects of his various health issues.

Regarding what is good for boxing, a fair outcome is the most important thing. However, I don’t see how anyone can say an Ortiz Spence fight in texas or a showdown with boots aren’t more interesting than anything stanionis could do should he win.

Hopefully Boots gets to fight the winner of this fight. Or both Boots and Virgil Or Stanionis gets Spence and Bud respectively or otherwise.

I am all in on Vergil as a fighter, but the continual health issues have me second guessing if he trusts his body to dig deeper in a war, which this could turn out to be. I know his mentality is on point, but will his body follow. He said before, "it just quit on me".

They match up so well for pure action; all in all, I don't see how Stanionis gets out of the way of Vergil's uppercut.
