Personally, I can't think of a Thurman fight that wasn't entertaining. So, I think this will be good. Chances are, though, that it does go 12. Keith hasn't knocked anybody out since Julio Diaz (Collazo doesn't count) and Ugas isn't a KO guy either.

This is the fight I was expecting because they're both name fighters & former champions (hence more $), both are with PBC, and it's the last of the old guard in the division since Crawford and Spence are done at 147 after their fight(s). Thurman and Ugas need a fight like this before taking on the young guns, or retiring (in the case of the loser), after extended ring absences.

I expect it to be a good, competitive fight. I see Keith winning.

As for the interim belt, this makes sense given all the belts will be vacated soon.

What fight has Thurman ducked? He's been inactive yeah. Spence fight he would have took but Spence can't stand him, part of the reason we finally got Crawford is his other option would have had to be fight Thurman and we know Spence doesn't want to give him a shot. Thurman never got the shot at Crawford either cause of the street stuff then Crawford Spence talks since. His sole loss is a close fight to Pacquaio. Boots and Ortiz fights he wasn't going ti get cause too early for their careers to take a thurman risk even with his inactivity.

Great fight. I’m picking Ugas over One Time A Year.

Ugas robots forward with a high guard, like Clottey. That's not an aggressor.

That's because of the opponents going after him.

Bundu was the last fight he was in that was boring, who indeed didn't "go after him" (after he got knocked down in round 1). But, I think Ugas is much more likely to bring it.

and the winner will see Boots for a vacant 147 title as one of those 147 belts gotta break free after Crawford/spence
