How many PPV will Canelo vs Jermell sell?

Oh a million+ easy. I think the Mex and Mex-American fight fans realize there could be a passing of the torch as far as "the face of boxing" goes if Canelo doesn't get a mil+ for this PPV. In fact just this morning I overheard a group of Chicanos by the water cooler at work saying "c'mon guys we have to really spread the word on the importance of this event, our #1 ethnic fan base is on the line here".

That said, I for one believe a million plus is possible. Canelo's part of the PBC family now. And not just a one and done like before. People respect that.

Well as paulf already stated, Canelo-Plant did 800k and the Charlo bros are popular so I can definitely see this PPV doing a couple hundred k more than that.

Plus Showtime will be promoting the heck out of this fight as the first of three big PPV's of the current face of boxing. The promotion will be the key here. Ik ow the Charlo bros will do their part.

I'm surprised people think it sells over 1m with Canelos performance on his last fight he's obviously not the same fighter anymore i know he has a strong fanbase but doubt that strong i think 600 - 700k 800 at a push.

The plant pre fight scuffle boosted that to 800k. The hype was low before that.

But I agree the charlos could make it bigger. But i got a feeling we are gonna get a controlled jermell during promotion. Not alot of talking. This is jermell legacy fight and I think he's gonna approach the promotion like that. Pure focus
