Maybe 500K - 600K give or take. It would be higher if Canelo was fighting Jermall.
How many PPV will Canelo vs Jermell sell?

This is borderline 1mil PPV I think. Canelo is still a big name and pretty much a lock for 500k buys even against unknown opponents or uninteresting fights.
Despite the matchup being criticized, I think the Charlos carry a level of notoriety and fans/haters that will draw a crowd. If PBC heavily promotes the undisputed vs undisputed, and charlo talks trash I definitely can see it being successful.Comment

At 154 yes. Moving up two weight classes for Canelo while avoiding Tszyu. He's also been inactive. Only fought twice against Castano since Sep 2020. Two fights in three years is pitiful. Jermell is not a PPV attraction and he struggled with a guy who is far smaller than Canelo. PBS is banking on Jermell losing and hyping a revenge fight between Canelo and his brother Jermall. The other problem is that Jermall is still inactive and should have been striped long ago by the corrupt WBC.Comment

1- Jermell is still more active than Jermall.

2- Jermell is bigger than Nelo. His fights at 154 are disgrace to sport.
3- I agree that Jermell's loss will promote Jermall fight to revenge. But, Jermall will have one tune up before Canelo. So, inactivity won't be much issue.
I think both Charlo fights will be big. Jermell will be big because of undisputed vs undisputed narrative. Jermall will be big because of revenge.
Both'll lose for sure.Comment

Man that's a lot of beltsOh a million+ easy. I think the Mex and Mex-American fight fans realize there could be a passing of the torch as far as "the face of boxing" goes if Canelo doesn't get a mil+ for this PPV. In fact just this morning I overheard a group of Chicanos by the water cooler at work saying "c'mon guys we have to really spread the word on the importance of this event, our #1 ethnic fan base is on the line here".
That said, I for one believe a million plus is possible. Canelo's part of the PBC family now. And not just a one and done like before. People respect that.Comment
