Do you take Lennox seriously when he says he'll come back for huge bucks? it's his way of saying he doesn't want to fight.
But Tito actually did come back. Lennox just says he wants $100 million or bust. That's much different.

Yeah, he came back and fought a light heavyweight contender. What's the problem? That both of them were big names and got paid? Did you pay for that? I love both but I wasn't buying that ****. But if someone retires, they aren't coming back for the glory. It's always the money...duh! He's doing nothing that all other boxers haven't.

So my point is still being proved here. If Tito comes back, the Vargas fight makes perfect sense. It's a fight he CAN win AND make a ton of money doing it. Isn't that what Tito wants?

I don't understand what everyone is disagreeing with me on.

I said it's a winnable fight for Tito that makes him a ton of money. FACT
I said Tito is not a serious fighter and hasn't been for a while. FACT
I said Tito claims only DLH, Hopkins, and other big names will lure him to fight. FACT

          So what's to disagree with?

I guess the only thing is that I said Tito had nothing against RJJ, and some disagree.

Im not disagreeing with it. I think Tito showed a lot more in his last fight than Vargas did against Mayorga. But I'm confused. You have beef with him coming back for money but have no issues with him doing absolutely pointless fights?

Nope, didn't buy it. Why would I pay to see Roy Jones beat up a past great fighter that's 10 pounds above his "should be" highest weight class.

That's not true about the money, Floyd came back for the glory.

But seriously, I have no problem with Tito jumping back in the ring, and I never did. The thing I have a problem with is that Tito didn't take his comeback seriously, and was ONLY in it for the money. He had little to no real desire to win or become a contender/champion again.

When Vitali came back, he was in shape and continued to fight like a serious fighter. When Floyd came back he was in shape and took a winnable fight in Marquez.

When Tito came back, he didn't want to shed the weight to be serious, so he took a catchweight fight with a man he knew he couldn't beat. That's my opinion.

DLH gets KTFO by a 100 years old Tito at this stage. Dont be ******. Tito lost a UD to Roy Jones at LHW, DLH uitted against Manny Pacquiao at WW, an yous ee teh difference???

From a legitimacy and meaning standpoint, the fight makes no sense, you are correct sir. From a business stand point and knowing how Vargas and Trinidad are, it makes sense that the two would come together for a rematch.

I would be against the fight happening, but in terms of both of their personal interests, it makes sense for the fight to be made.

                  1. Vargas and Trinidad can't make reasonable weights
                  2. They'll both make bank
                  3. They both have a chance to win
                  4. Vargas has wanted revenge for years
                  5. Tito only wants big money

                    Oh the irony.

Everybody keeps writing off Vargas, but he's more man than any of you and he will come back strong, if not stronger! You'll see you doubters.
