I personally can’t stand NON boxing analysts. They know NOTHING about the sweet science but the casual morons unfortunately like them, so they keep them.

I cant stand A side suckup Kellerman or any of that old HBO crew. I hated Ward at first and he really did used to sound racially biased but I thought he got better calling more fairly as time wore on to the point where he was cool enough. Not always completely. They all shill for the A side its just that some like Max just gush over the A side and call fights super unfairly. Tim is cool by me usually. When hes wrong its more just comical . The one I really cant stand more than any of them is woke Mark Kriegel. Wait no, Mauro is worse. He's so bad he makes me turn off the sound. If for no other reason than he always tells me the results of other fights and sporting events happening on the other channels that Ive DVR'd. Not just every time, but EVERY MOTHER-FK-ING time I dont have the volume down!!!I think Dazn has the best announcers but Mannix is almost starting to sound like a big ol shill. I used to dislike Mora but now I really hope hes the Dazn announcer, and Algieri is pretty good too. The nerd is ok but I dont trust him to always call it right. And wait,, I left out Jim Gray. I think his mere visage angers me. Exponentially more than even Mauro. I want to puke when I hear him undermining the B-side and trying to destroy their confidence just before they fight. And I absolutely hate when he ambushes fighters after a loss and asks something like, Are you going to retire now huh? Isnt it time to retire? You just took a horrible beating.

So , unless I misunderstood , Ward is leaving because his contract is up
So that means that espn would of kept him on if he stuck around

We can complain, but anyone that is put on mike during fights will be criticized. I tend to watch fights with the sound off and just watch the fight with music in the background. I do miss good commentating, but it seems like no one is able to get the work in to get good.

ESPN is going to get people who tow the company line, period, end of story. So will Showtime, and I am sure DAZN does as well.
