Marshall would be much more effective if she just did take half steps backwards. when she does actually move, she exaggerates all her movements and leaves herself out of position or not in a great position to land. If she actually stops exaggerating movement and just took smaller steps out of range, she could be much more effective and land

That's all it takes. All she had to do was feint, take a step back and shoot the uppercut up the middle. Crews' gameplan was good in smothering the power, but her punches were not sharp enough

Yep. And the low hands against a short, squat fighter don't make much sense, it lowers the centre of gravity, brings the head in, and it's not as though the opponent's not going to see the shots coming.

On that evidence, Marshall doesn't have good chances in a Shields rematch, much as I find Shields damn annoying

Crews has a good chin cuz marshal is hitting her with everything. I think the added weight is helping her. Looks like she has put on about 20 lbs since weigh in yesterday. Marshall has won no less than 8 rounds so far

She is built like big baby Miller, she is probably difficult to put down
