Absolutely a cherrypick. It doesn’t matter if Canelo fought at 154lbs. He fights at 168. A MW coming up, that’s alright with me, happens all the time, many ATG’s fought guys coming up a weight class. So Jermall was fine with me.

Jermell is a cherrypick. Hell, I was calling Crawford a cherrypicker for calling out Jermell. Because of his timing.

So yeah, Canelo is cherrypicking Jermell.

No its on Charlo, he doesnt have to accept. I bet you were 1 of the 1s saying Ryan Garcia didnt have to accept the stipulations werent you? Well neither does Charlo. Haymon is just presenting his fighter with the best financial opportunity he can. As for Canelo, he doing something Floyd never did and is giving a brotha a payday while being put in a lose/lose situation. Canelo will never get the props Floyd got from beating JMM.

Besides, people forget, LW Shane went up to WW and beat De La Hoya. A smaller fighter usually has the speed advantage, add the height, Mell could pull it off.

Canelo likely dominates JMW Charlo. Then MW Charlo tries to avenge the defeat. Then its either a rematch or Benavidez.
Don't forget, the Charlos are identical twins. I wonder how much Jermell has to cut to fight @ 154? I recall them saying a long time ago that they would never fight each other, hence they fight in different weight classes. Jermell likely easily walks around at the same weight as Jermall.

I didnt realize at first he is fighting the smaller charlo.

these ABC belts are garbage, they should STRIP him of all 4 belts. Bringing up baby charlo from 2 ***ing divisions is not a title defense. This is a joke. They are in cash out phase with Canelo and super protecting him. He is ducking benevidez outright at this point.

its a cherrypick... saying that i dont think charlo will win but i wouldnt be surprised if its closer than expected, canelo has been used to fighting slow sloppy 168 fighters he might struggle to land on charlo

First, Clenelo wanted Usyk, then Jack. He won’t fight Benavides but now he is fighting a guy two weight classes below.

Sure it is. Bivol fight showed Canelo what time it was.
