I will never understand Canelo's decision making when it comes to making fights, sure this fight is attractive and will probably be entertaining but wtf.....If Canelo wins he beat someone who jumped up from 154, if Canelo loses he lost to someone who jumped up from 154

It's like Mikey Garcia not fighting Loma which would have been a great fight and moving up to fight Spence. Now Charlo isnt fighting Tszyu which would have been a great 50/50 fight to move up 2 divisions to fight Canelo? It doesn't make sense, its not good for the fans either. Charlo hasnt fought above 154 once.

Man this is a what have you done for me lately world. Jermell has fully unified the division giving us MUCH better fights than opponents like Tim Tszyu, and now because he’s going to fight a larger fighter where he is a clear underdog but without question in a MUCH BIGGER fight that’s going to reach MANY MORE eyeballs this somehow isn’t good for the fans ? Jermell has fought all the guys at 154. He deserves the chance at greatness and a huge payday. I for one like this fight a LOT more than I did his inactive twin brother potentially facing Canelo. Yes, Charlo is an underdog but this is a very interesting fight to me. I like his chances better than I liked Caleb Plants or Billy Joe Saunders, that’s for sure.
