Last week I wrote on here that he will fight both Charlo's. People were totally discounting Mell. I thought he would be second but for the last few days I was suspecting Mall would not accept and Mell would be chosen. Canelo screwing over 2 divisions to cherry pick. A disgrace to boxing.

Don't see this fight being competitive I like Jermell he's the better fighter of the brothers but I don't see him being able to do anything to Canelo and probably will end up getting knocked out. He's definitely not ducking 1 dimensional Tim Tszyu though he's taking the money fight nobody can blame him for that, they do need to strip Jermall already though so the middleweight division can move forward, GGG already vacated let the division see some new blood.

Terrible fight, add this to the pointless fights files along with the Mayweather/Marquez, Golovkin/Brooks, Lomachenko/Rigandoux, Spence/Garcia fights.

Marquez was P4P #2 and eventually had a ATG win at 147 though. Topped with the fact that Floyd was coming off a 2 year layoff. Not comparable to any one of those fights whatsoever!

Maybe Crawford (not saying he's ducking just that it would be possible). That's fight I hoped would open up now. TC-Charlo for WW/JMW undisputed. Spence can't take that fight but if TC wins then he will be putting pressure. "I'm going straight to the Spence fight, and after that I will **** up Charlo"-TC

Of course Jermell will take the money fight, but that is why I'm disappointed in this matchup. I guess it could still happen, but seems like a stretch.

Taylor was the one out of the ring too long against an active Lopez. Charlo is the one who is inactive and moving up two weights. Canelo has this secured all day with those advantages just as Lopez did.

Lol - we have a couple people who are loving the fight, that's good. It will still do well, and if I was organizing a fight weekend trip with casual fans, this is the kind of matchup that would be a good trip. The Canelo business probably could use this type of injection of opposing fans. So yeah maybe they do double dip on the Charlo's just for that element
