For Joyce to beat Zhang, he needs to move his head and stop fighting in slow motion. That is a big ask in such a short amount of time. His second option is to keep taking shots hoping his eyes won't close before Zhang gets gassed but that would be a risky strategy.

Highly doubtful considering when joyce was caught colder in the first few rounds he never went down

joyce warms into fights and zhang loses his pop in the second half of the fight

Joyce was landing more and more nearer the fights end and zhangs output was dropping significantly at the time of the stoppage
