I swore I'd never do it, but here I am. Maybe I'd think it, maybe I'd talk about it in private conversations, but I said I would never publicly write that a fighter should retire.

Kownacki doesn't look like he's done many crunches himself, bit of an odd comment to make tbh...

He's right to have an opinion though, doesn't mean that opinion IS right but he can have it nonetheless.

You don't have to actively be part of something/some group to have an opinion about said thing/person you just have to have a functioning brain to formulate said opinion...

Nothing left to prove is a bad title for a fringe contender that never beat anyone. He definitely should retire though.

Adam will be alright, his wife used his money to buy a bed and breakfast compound just before Covid hit in upstate New York. I think he’s continued to fight to fund his retirement but he’s gonna be alright. He actually married a smart woman who has been planning his life after boxing. Hopefully he listens. I imagine it’s hard to say no to a few hundred grand but he’s in dangerous territory now as a fighter if he can’t turn down offers which I imagine he now can just say “no.” And think of his health. Article about the purchase is online, I remember it from a while ago. He seems like a really good dude so I wish him and her well.

Yep, I agree. The time has come for Adam to hang up his gloves for good; For his own safety and health. He's had one Hell of a run with a very limited skill set.

Coming in constantly out of shape and repeatedly eating flush punch after punch would only speed up the aging process in prizefighters. It's a fact; The less punishment a boxer absorbs in this sport the longer they will last.

Those ass whoopings he took has now finally taken its toll on his body. Both his chin, legs and punch resistance are all retired now; Along with his timing and stamina.
