I went to take a look at the ranking, to try to find a reason to speculate on such an idiotic fight. But then I came across Sergio Martinez as number 2 in the WBA. After all, what are rankings for? And what are the criteria?

Alimkhanuly is another one of these guys that fights bums while screaming that the top guys are ducking him. Yes, Andrade ducked him, but that's nothing special. Andrade ducks any live opponent. In order to secure a big fight, Alimkhanuly needs to increase his profile by fighting more solid competition. This is professional boxing, and if you pay guys, they will fight. This guy has talent, but at this point is grossly overrated based on his resume. In his defense, however, after the very top guys the division is pretty thin at the moment.
